STEP ONE/ d, iterative design & testing
Summit enters this last phase of Step ONE with a comprehensive picture of your business needs and your physical and RF environment. In this step, we design your WLAN.
Our approach generates a proven design every time
While still on-site we begin a series of iterative tests to prove and improve the design. We travel throughout the site, installing test cells (transmitters and receivers) and loading them with realistic data and traffic that accurately simulate your actual production environment.
We then re-survey the environment, measure network performance, and tune (redesign) the cell until we generate the performance needed to support the documented business requirements. We repeat the process until we have designed and tested all the cells comprising your network.
By the end of this step we have defined the size, location, and shape of coverage area for every Access Point. We have selected every antenna, and we have determined the optimal channel allocation to avoid contention with all interference sources.
These are services that most of our competitors simply do not provide.
