STEP TWO: Installation

We deliver functionality, not equipment

Summit does not just install equipment; we install functionality. We provide you with absolute assurance that your WLAN is a fully functional wireless network that meets your business needs.

Many of our competitors treat WLAN installation as though they were delivering new office furniture: bring it in, put it in the right place, and leave. A WLAN is not equipment, it’s functionality.

Summit’s installation process is a rigorous and thorough re-test of the design generated in Step ONE to ensure that your WLAN provides the fully-specified and agreed-upon functionality.

Install, test, tune and retest

During installation our team of experienced technicians installs, tests, tunes, and re-tests your complete WLAN, measuring coverage, data and traffic throughput, jitter, roaming, and more. We continue to fine tune until we’ve optimized your complete wireless network.

As we work we also document in detail the “as-built” WLAN. Passing this documentation on to your IT staff is part of the next step, Summit Support.
